I have been teaching the piano since my student days in Birmingham in the mid 1970s - i.e. for over forty years.
In my tuition, I aim to cover not just the usual scales, exercises, sight-reading and set pieces, but to
encourage improvisation and, where possible, the tools of composition.
I have taught (and continue to teach) a wide range of abilities from virtual beginners to diploma standard students.
