I studied violin at the New England Conservatory of Music and the Conservatory of Music at Rivers. I studied Chamber Music and Coaching at the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music. In College, I received a BA in Musicology where I focused on music theory, jazz, composition, electronic music, world music and music therapy. I have a Masters in Ethnomusicology. I studied World Music with David Reck at Amherst College among other things.
