I studied singing, piano and violin at the Royal Academy of Music, London. My qualifications include a B.mus (hons.) from Kings College London, a diploma LRAM from the Royal Academy of Music, and a P.G.C.E from Kingston University. I was a full time member of the BBC Singers, London for five years, and have also had an opera career in German and European opera houses. Opera roles include Ferrando (Cosi), Tamino (Zauberflöte), Rector Adams (Peter Grimes), Arioch & Wise Man (Belshazzar), Brighella (Ariadne auf Naxos), 2 Nazarene (Salome), Herod (Jesus Christ Superstar), Guglielmo (Viva la Mamma), Chantal of Avignon (La Cage aux Folles). Opera houses I've sung in include the Berliner Staatsoper unter den Linden, Festival Aix-en-Provence, L'Opera de Nice, Theatre du Capitol, Toulouse, Volkstheater Rostock, and Scottish Opera..Concert appearances include Bach Cantatas with English Baroque Soloists/ Monteverdi Choir conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Handel's Dixit Dominus & Bach's Magnificat with Le Concert d'Astree conducted by Emmanuelle Haim, Britten's War Requiem at the Berliner Dom (centenary commemorations of WW1).
