Terry Ferster holds a university teaching degree and having taught in the school systems for 36 years, he and his wife Ruth own and operate R and T Music Studios and Lutherie in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada,. Ruth teaches piano, violin, viol and cello. Terry teaches cello, guitar, banjo, mandolin, stand up bass and a wide variety of other string instruments. In addition, Terry is a full time luthier specializing in violin, cello, string bass and all other string instruments. Terry completes hundreds of violin and cello repairs, restorations and set ups each year. Feel free to respond on this site to set up an appointment time to discuss your needs.

Fees

$ 50.00 Canadian Dollars Per Hour
Lesson fees are standard at $50.00 per hour, $25.00 per half hour for both Ruth and Terry.
All repairs must be quoted only after a complete preliminary inspection of your instrument. If need be, client is responsible for all shipping charges. Shipping instructions will be given after consultation.
