Ruth Ayres MA AGSM Ad Dip Ed LRAM LTCL has over 30 years teaching experience and extended her practice to include online tuition 6 years ago so is a very experienced online teacher. She has students in the UK, Canada, USA, France, Germany & Switzerland. Most of her pupils gain distinction in their examinations and she has a 100% pass rate. She works from studios in Oxford, London, Bath Lincolnshire & Cambridge but mostly teaches online or a mix of online/in person. NB Students are expected to learn online most of the time - some choose all of the time because she travels around the UK for work.

All her students in the UK achieved distinctions in the new 2020/21/22 online examinations for both Trinity Rock and Pop vocals and for Associated Board online practical and theory examinations.

In the past she has also worked as an examiner and adjudicator, taught music, advised, inspected (OfSTED)and managed music services in several public and state schools including all four of the Harpur schools in Bedford, Harrow, Sherbourne School for Girls, Kent College, Kent and Bedfordshire Music Services and numerous other local authorities/music hubs in Scotland and England.
