Mclane Guiñares began studying trumpet at age 12 and joined Banda Kabyaw, Inc., later becoming a member of the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth from 2018 to 2023. He entered the UP College of Music in 2020, studying under Prof. Rayben Maigue, and became a member of the UP Symphonic Band, UP ROTC Band, and UP Jazz Ensemble. Mclane also played with Project 201 Big Band and served as a casual trumpeter for the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra's Turandot Opera in 2022 and the Roman Carnival Concert Series in 2023. He has attended various brass masterclasses, including "Meet the Stars: Berlin Philharmonic Brass." and former member of of the UP Symphony Orchestra. Graduated in UP College of Music, Associate in Arts (Music).
