I have been a professional bassoonist for over 50 years. I was in the BBC Training Orchestra,BBC Scottish Radio Orchestra, New Zealand `Symphony Orchestra (2nd and Co Principal) For 30 years Principal bassoon with the English Symphony Orchestra. I have taught at the Birmingham Conservatoire and at Keel and Nottingham University. Taught also for Leicestershire County. Many of my pupils have gone onto Music College and are now in the Music profession
