Karen Markham is a contemplative, composer and pianist. She has a first class degree in music from the University of Leeds and a PhD in Musical composition from the University of Durham. She has taught music at Radley College, the Universities of Huddersfield and Manchester, at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Leeds College of Music. Her compositions range from works for solo piano to full orchestra, and have been performed by leading musicinas, ensembles and orchestras of the UK.
Her mission is to give expression to the spiritual journey through her musical compositions and to be an instrument/channel for God’s Radiant Light, Joy and Compassionate Love. Her new album for solo piano: Seasons of Light is to be released in 2020.
