Following childhood studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Wales (UK) with Douglas Townsend Francis Howard & Mary Rees (BBC Welsh Symphony) I won a scholarship to study at the Guildhall School of Music London where I studied with LSO orchestral members, then moved to Paris to study with Jean Pierre Rampal. I am an ex BBC Symphony Radio Orchestra player and BBC Cymru soloist.
I have 30+ years professional experience of playing and teaching music and have taught at top public schools in the UK eg. Harrow, Sherborne School and Bedford as well as for local authorities. I am also an ex examiner and educational inspector. I have a 100% pass rate and most students gain distinctions in examinations. I teach Flute Piano and Violin.

I offer online tuition worldwide and have students in New York, Paris, London, Edinburgh, Wales, England, Germany, Malaysia and China . Please note that I expect students to study online when I am away with an orchestra and some teaching slots are online only.

Qualifications: MA, AGSM, Ad Dip Ed, LRAM, LTCL.

Instruments: Piano, Flute and Violin. Fees start at £20.
I specialise in teaching older children, adult beginners and returners online. I have references available on English websites ( Google doesn't allow transfer of testimonials across countries ). I am new to Scotland.
