Dave Dove is considered one of Cheshire's finest musicians. In 2005 he won the North West Songwriter of the year. Dave Dove’s music has appeared widely in festivals as well as being broadcast on radio. His styles has been influenced by Harvey Andrews, Neil Young, Crosby Stills and Nash, Francis Dunnery, Runrig, Mark Knoffler and the Beatles. His music touches on catchy folk, country and rock and blues melodies. Dave Dove is an Solo Guitar/Vocalist from Congleton in Cheshire and is classically trained performing to Diploma standard gaining a HND in Performing Arts and is an experienced songwriter. Dave is also a very experienced Acoustic Guitar performing in various lineups from traditional folk duos to rockabilly, rock and pop for over 25 years

He has performed at various festivals throughout the UK including the Great Dorset Steam Fair, Middlewich and Shrewsbury. Notable performances included main stage support for Seth Lakeman in 2007 and Spiers and Boden in 2008. He also was a semi finalist in the BBC introducing and Finalist in BBC Shropshire Folkquest Songwriting competition. Dave has also performed at weddings and functions throughout the UK performing at Best Western Hotel chain with LNB Entertainment.

Dave performs worldwide as Guitarist/Vocalist on P&O and Princess Cruiseline since 2018 and as a Bass Player on both Saga and Princess Cruiselines since 2016 in both the Orchestra and partyband. He also has performed at weddings, festivals, pubs and clubs throughout the UK.

Dave is BA degree standard in Music Production and Sound Engineering studying at Point Blank Music School. Dave is a specialist in folk, folk rock, rock, contemporary songwriting and pop music and he is a very experienced producer and composer. Dave is very keen to work with any artist or collaborator to help arrange, write and produce your music from scratch to final product.
