Age 81. Recently returned to playing the bassoon after an abcence of 16 years. Currently taking lessons from Matthew Kneale, Malvern, VIC, Australia. +61 431 787 765. Previously took Grade 5 bassoon AMEB, Oxford UK. Played with Cowley Community Centre Orchestra, Oxford, UK and Oxford Holiday Orchestra before returning to Melbourne, Australia where I played with amateur classical chamber groups and the Victorian Concert Orchestra for several years. Also taught bassoon to beginners for 5 years. Presently (Aug/Sep 2024) visiting my daughter and granddaughter in Kelowna, BC until 8 September 2024. Hoping to hire a bassoon for practice. Keen to meet other bassoonists while in town.
