I have played for many years as a professional musician. I won a scholarship to study performance and arranging at the the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles with such luminaries as Joel Di Bartello (Buddy Rich, Tonight Show), Dick Grove (film & TV Composer & Arranger) and Jay Daversa (Stan Kenton) amongst others. After graduating I moved to Norway and worked with many well known artists as well as teaching privately.
On moving back to the UK I taught at West Kent College, Birkbeck and Kingston College, specialising in performance and music theory.
I have worked in the UK and US and have toured and recorded with known artists such as Kenny Jones (The Who), Mike Rutherford (Genisis), Zoot Money to name but a few, as well as playing the regular functions and gigs.
I teach all levels of Performance, Theory, Eartraining and Improvisation from beginner to advanced for various instruments and work to the specific goals of each student.
