Flip Damon was born in Washington, DC in 1951 as P. W. Aitcheson. His music catalog is extensive and includes 22 albums, and a great many singles. He is an international recording artist with Isle Royale Records/NY. The music offers a number of chart hits including his mega song, "Sunshine Girls", written originally for The Beach Boys, and inspired by the late, Brian Wilson, a close friend of the artist.

Mr. Damon is a co-founder of the seventies group, "Horn, Wood, & Silver" and played drums for them, and provided some vocals as well. After the band disbanded in the late Seventies, Damon and J. R. Matthews formed a songwriting and production team and opened a recording studio in Maryland. Later, the facility was moved to another location in Maryland, and then much later to Virginia. The current studio is now located in North Carolina, and was re-named Mimosa Sound, which is owned by P. F. Damon Company and Mr. Damon.
It is the active location for the production of all Flip Damon works and is continuing today.
The artist can be contacted by email at P.FlipDamon@gmail.com.
